The moment a time traveler gets caught

In the movies, time travelers rarely give themselves away with anything dramatic. It's a small slip: not knowing the bus fare, pulling out a banknote that doesn't exist yet, naming an app nobody has heard of. The Blend-In Mission turns that moment into a game. You land in Seoul, South Korea, in six different years between 1988 and 2019 and have to answer the locals naturally.

What to watch for in each era

Why prices are the most dangerous question

Memory is much weaker for prices than for events. You might roughly remember what happened in a given year but not what the bus cost. That's why the price questions include real prices from other years as decoys. Pick something close and suspicion rises a little; name a price from a completely different era and it jumps. When the suspicion meter hits 100, the mission fails.

By the end you'll notice how deeply "the price back then" is woven into everyday life, and how much changed in just a few years. Prices come from news reports, Seoul's fare history, Korea's Minimum Wage Commission and the postal rate history.
